Cristina studied architecture in Rome and Madrid. She moved to London in 2000 after completing her studies and joined Foster + Partners in 2003. She was initially involved in the Milan Fair Competition, and has led competition winning teams and designed luxury resorts in Brazil, Spain and Italy. From 2009 she was part of the Apple Park design team which completed in 2018. In 2015 she was shortlisted for the AJ's Women in Architecture Award.
