Tabula Table System, Tecno

The Tabula table system was initially developed for use throughout the Carré d’Art, in Nîmes, to suit many different purposes including library reading tables, conservation tables, display cases and shop vitrines. The structure is composed of two aluminium extrusions, one each for the legs and the rim of the tabletop.

The latter is hollow and can be used for routing cables for desktop computer terminals or integrated lighting systems. The inherent flexibility of the Tabula system means that tables of almost any dimensions can be produced to suit any context; and because the tabletop is not structural, but simply slots into the frame, any surface material can be specified.
