Saxbourne joined the practice in 2007, graduating from the University of Liverpool and RIBA North West. He is a registered Architect in both the UK and Portugal. His career spans projects across the UK, Middle East, and China, including his early involvement in the Masdar City in Abu Dhabi. He has a passion for exploring how technology and integrated design can deliver innovation and design excellence. His background in leading challenging projects with diverse project teams spans all project stages, from conceptual design and technical delivery to on-site management and post occupancy evaluation, with focus on office and workspace design. For example, Saxbourne contributed to the Bloomberg European Headquarters in London from the first sketch to completion, and the project received the RIBA Stirling Prize and became the highest BREEAM-rated major commercial development in 2018.
