Piers joined Foster + Partners in 2011 to lead the Environmental Engineering team providing strategic design support to projects across the office. He studied Energy Engineering and has been pioneering a fresh approach to environmental and sustainable design, winning numerous awards. His investigations into the nature of the tall buildings have helped developing cutting edge approaches to energy transfer in high rises, with significant mix of uses. Many of these innovative strategies have been incorporated into our recent high rise projects.
