Lord Foster will be participating in ‘Lasdun and the Royal College of Physicians – 50 years in Regent’s Park’ tomorrow. The event is a celebration of Sir Denys Lasdun’s Grade I listed building, which was opened by the Queen on 5 November 1964. Lord Foster will talk about his perspective on Lasdun, which will touch on his own experience consulting the architect during the evolution of the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts at the campus Lasdun designed for the University of East Anglia. Other speakers include Dr Simon Thurley, English Heritage and Dr Barnabas Calder, University of Liverpool School of Architecture followed by a panel discussion chaired by Professor Jane Dacre, President of the Royal College of Physicians.
