Young Wei-Yang Chiu was the New Zealand Top Scholar in Design, graduating from the Auckland University School of Architecture in 1998. He joined Foster + Partners in 2004 to work on Beijing International Airport.Since returning to London in 2009, he has been involved in the envelope design for the 4 new stations of the Haramain High Speed Rail network in Saudi Arabia. He is also in charge of developing new potential projects in his native Far East, particularly in China and Taiwan.
