This exhibition explores the collaboration between designers and manufacturers and investigates the contribution made to designs by components such as intrusions, castings and metal formings. With contributions from artists, engineers, product designers, manufacturers and architects, it features components from two Foster and Partners projects the original superplastic aluminium panels from the Sainsbury Centre for the Visual Arts, Norwich and part of the cladding on the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Headquarters, Hong Kong.
