Today Multiplex handed over the keys of Wembley Stadium, Britains most important sports and entertainments venue, to The FA.  Wembley National Stadium Limited (WNSL) will begin preparations for several public events to test the new facilities. Almost four times the height of the original stadium and with 90,000 seats, the new Wembley Stadium is the largest covered football stadium in the world, and will provide unparalleled twenty-first century facilities for future generations of sports and music fans.

A Community Day on March 17 will give local Brent residents a chance to appraise the new facilities, followed by an England Under-21 International match against Italy on March 24. Both events anticipate a General Safety Certificate from the London Borough of Brent that is required before the FA Cup Final on May 19.
