Santa Giulia Masterplan - Interiors

Milan, Italy
2003

The 605 residences planned for the Santa Giulia masterplan in Milan range from studios to family apartments, and their design is a fusion of Italian traditions and contemporary living. As well as developing the masterplan, the practice designed and dressed the interior of the marketing suite utilising a light, reflective palette of pale wood flooring, crisp white walls, natural tiles and carefully chosen personal details, from the children’s drawings framed over the kitchen surface to books and works of art. The apartments feature the Dada Place kitchen, which was designed by the studio following analysis of the different activities in the modern kitchen, and driven by a desire to bring a new level of refinement and sophistication to this type of furniture.
