The concept masterplan for a mixed-use development at Greystones New Quarter, Co Wicklow, just 18km south of Dublin, on a dramatic site on the edge of Greystones Village will incorporate strong sustainability and environmental aims. The project comprises a variety of uses integrating residential, civic, educational, commercial and leisure facilities. The mix of uses are arranged in a series of villages facing a new public park and lake linking the coast, promenade and Greystones village centre.
Inspired by Irelands’ ancient forms and landscape, the vision is to create a unique and sensitive addition commensurate with the locality and its neighbouring built and landscape environment.
The designs are at an early stage and the team will engage the local community, interest groups and planning representatives as an integral part of the design process.
