The YachtPlus boat fleet thinks afresh the spaces, both interior and exterior, of a traditional yacht, creating a unique space that is both technologically advanced and timelessly elegant. With state-of-the art systems, the yachts offer the best of the nautical tradition together with 21st century comforts. The singular spaces of a yacht are highlighted in the design, with the interior walls following the rounded profile of the hull, and the owner’s suite at the prow is arranged to point to the course of the yacht, articulating the thrill of living on the water.
Fully glazed rooms and wide views dissolve divisions between inside and outside, and the teak decking of the of the main deck runs through the length of the vast saloon, creating a sense of continuity from the decks to the living spaces. The various levels of the boat are connected by a glowing glass spiral staircase that draws light from above into the darker lower levels of the boat. Reflective finishes on the walls further maximise the available light at the lower levels of the boat, and the resulting clean lines are a striking re-interpretation of traditional boat interior design.
State-of-the-art lighting systems have been integrated in the design, with scene-setting ceilings that change the mood and atmosphere of every room, transforming the spaces and also ensuring the right degree of privacy. At night, the windows appear opaque from the outside, while during the day, the sunlight floods into the space, making the windows appear completely transparent and open to the seascape.
