DZ Licht - Focus Bollards

The DZ Licht Focus lighting series is a comprehensive range of outdoor light fittings based on a unique movement method, which has no visible brackets.
The starting point for each model is a common structural extrusion that can be combined with a variety of luminaires, from a standard energy -efficient compact fluorescent light source to a high intensity lamp. The extrusion is made of aluminium with a die-cast aluminium head. The series includes ground-recessed spotlights and bollards and way lighting up to a height of three and a half metres and an interface plate, which allows the installation to be carefully controlled. The kit-of-parts construction allows individual components to be combined to produce a large variety of products – this results in an extremely efficient production process. The bollards were launched in 2002 and were used in the refurbishment of the Sainsbury Centre by Foster + Partners in 2006.
